How to come to Deauville from Paris

If you are coming from abroad, you will most likely reach France by plane or train arriving in Paris.

Charles de Gaulle international airport (CDG) in Paris is the largest international hub in Paris but Orly airport (ORL) is also available in Paris.

From these two international airports you can reach Paris city center by ground transport and organise your arrival to Deauville from the Gare Saint Lazare train station, one of the five major train stations in Paris.

Coming to Deauville is easy by train from Paris.

IPAC'26 direct bus transfers from Paris to Deauville

To simplify the organisation of your travel we have organised bus transfers directly do Deauville from Charles de Gaulle airport and Orly airport on Sunday May 17th.

Busses are also arranged from the conference center to Paris airports and Paris city center on Friday after the conference. This might be an option if you wish to visit Paris after the conference.

 

 

The costs of the shuttle bus organised by IPAC’26 is 40€ TTC one way. You will have to sign up for the bus during your registration procedure.
You can always add the bus travel at a later stage during your registration procedure.
When you have signed up we will come back to you for your flight information to optimise the number of busses.
At the moment you can count on a bus transfer every 2 hours between 8h00 to 16h00 from the airports arriving in Deauville 3h later (latest arrival 19h).

For those who arrives late on Saturday 16 we propose to stay overnight at one of the many hotels at the airport and then reserve a shuttle for Sunday morning towards Deauville.
We can also organise a bus on saturday evening if requested by several participants.

If you wish to stay a few days in Normandy and visit the region you can easily get a direct train from Deauville to Paris after the conference, or organise your travel with the agency proposing visits.
There are only one train station in Deauville-Trouville. Tickets can be bought on-line during the conference or at the train station.

There is an airport in Deauville, with seasonal connections to various cities in the world, the destinations in May 2026 is not known to us today.

Important information for ESRF and SOLEIL visits

For those visiting SOLEIL in Paris or ESRF in Grenoble after the conference please note that no travel back to Deauville and Normandy are foreseen.

If you are flying to Paris, please forsee enough time to travel from Grenoble to Paris to reach your return flight. There are direct trains about every 2h from Grenoble to Paris. The train travel takes about 3h. From Paris city center to CDG airport it takes about 1 hour with public transport.
