All students signed up with student fee are requested to attend the School on Saturday 16th of May, lunch and dinner is included in the program on Saturday for the students.

Through the EPS-AG organization and sponorship a certain number of grants in the field of accelerator science will be awarded to students to attend IPAC’26. The grants include a waiver of registration fees and a per diem allowance (from Sunday, May 17th to Friday, May 22nd) to be used toward lodging and food while attending the conference.

The Region of Normandy is exceptionally sponsoring IPAC’26 to allow a maximum of students to attend the training (IPAC’26 Accelerator school) in Deauville the week-end before the conference.

More information about this will be available before registration. Although we strongly recommend all students registered with a “student fee” to participate in this event without extra costs.

This shows the strong support of the Region in Nuclear and Particle Accelerator Science.

During the week of the conference, from Sunday to Friday, only Granted students will have a per diem allowance covering lodging and food while attending the conference.

Granted students have some obligations during the conference:

• Submit an abstract prior to grant applications.
• Submit a contribution to the proceedings
• Attend the IPAC’26 Accelerator School on May 16th, 2026.
• Present their work in the special student poster session on the Sunday afternoon preceding the conference, Sunday, May 6, 2023
• Participate as scientific secretaries assistants (assisting the Session Chairs/running microphones) during the conference sessions.

• The deadline for applications and reference letters is December 3, 2025, which is the same as the abstract deadline.
• Before applying for a student grant, you should have already submitted an abstract and taken note of the contribution ID.
• Grant applications, including at least two reference letters signed by a supervisor, head of institute, laboratory, or university department where the applicant is working or studying, must be submitted using the on-line application form
• Letters of support or references must be uploaded within the above deadline.

If your supervisor prefers to submit the above mentioned letter personally, they can send it directly via email to to: student@ipac26.org

• All student grant applicants will be informed about the result of their application in January 2026.
• Please, remember to register at the conference only after receiving notification of your grant.
